A Wedding in the Fields
There is something different about getting married on the farm.
Set beside the water meadows at Tewin Water, our Festival Weddings bring together open skies, music, great food and long summer evenings. Think tractor rides across the fields, drinks served from a horse box bar, feasting under canvas and dancing long after sunset with friends gathered around fire pits.
This is a wedding that feels relaxed yet considered. Less formal ballroom, more countryside celebration. A full day on the farm that unfolds naturally from ceremony through to late night dancing beneath festoon lights.
Available from May to September, Festival Weddings at Tewinbury are designed for couples who want space, atmosphere and a celebration that feels entirely their own.
Setting
Tewin Water sits within our 700 acre working farm, surrounded by fields, woodland and open countryside.
Your celebration takes place within our lakeside festival space, centred around a tipi reception and the Baa Bar, creating a relaxed village feel for the day and evening.
Expect:
• A private festival style wedding setting
• Tipi dining space with long banquet tables
• Outdoor lounge seating and garden games
• Fire pits as the evening draws in
• Dedicated stage for live music and DJs
• Sunset photo moments across the fields
• Festoon lighting throughout the site
Your Wedding Day
From arrival through to the final song, the day flows naturally across the farm.
Ceremony
Choose to marry in the nearby church or within the grounds of Tewinbury itself.
Arrival on the Farm
Guests arrive to drinks and canapés served from our horse box bar, with live acoustic music setting the tone.
Tractor Ride to Tewin Water
Climb aboard for the journey across the farm to the festival site, complete with a ‘Just Married’ sign for the newlyweds.
Feasting & Speeches
Long tables beneath the tipi create a shared dining experience designed for relaxed celebration.
Cocktails & Games
Lawn games, sofas and cocktails at the Baa Bar as the afternoon moves into evening.
Music & Dancing
Live band and DJ performances from the festival stage or Baa Bar, followed by dancing under the lights late into the night.
Evening Atmosphere
Food trucks open, fire pits lit and the farm at its best as the sun sets.
Food & Drink
Food plays a central role in every Tewinbury wedding. Our festival format allows couples to create something informal, generous and sociable.
Choose from:
- BBQ feasts
- Hog Roast
- Food trucks including pizza, burgers and bespoke options
Menus are seasonal and farm led, created by our chefs using local produce wherever possible.
Staying on the Farm
Keep the celebration going with accommodation across the farm.
Guests can stay in our farmhouse rooms, lakeside huts and woodland cabins, with options to introduce glamping villages within the festival field itself. Shuttle transfers across the estate ensure everyone moves easily between celebration and stay.
Make it your own
Festival Weddings offer flexibility while retaining the ease of a fully supported Tewinbury event.
We can also explore dry hire options for couples wishing to bring their own suppliers, though our recommended approach is a fully catered experience delivered by our farm team.
From lighting and styling to entertainment and late night food, our weddings team will help shape a celebration that reflects you.
