26 October | 11am
Step inside our 18th century Tythe Barn for a day that brings people together through movement, music and food. The barn will be lit with candlelight, setting the scene for a relaxed and restorative evening.
We begin with a slow flow pilates session led by the team from Studio 281. This is not about working up a sweat or pushing to your limits. It is about moving gently, breathing fully and arriving in the space. The session is designed to be inclusive so whether you are a regular or completely new to pilates you will feel welcome.
Once the body has unwound it is time for a gong meditation. The sound fills the barn and encourages you to let go of the week just gone. People often describe the experience as deeply calming and grounding. You simply lie back, close your eyes and let the sound wash over you.
The evening then shifts to the table. Long wooden tables will be set with seasonal dishes made using produce from the farm and our local suppliers. Expect generous sharing plates, freshly cooked food and the simple pleasure of eating together in a historic setting.
This is not just another night out. It is a chance to pause, reconnect and enjoy good food in good company.
Tewinbury is only 30 minutes from London by train and the Tythe Barn is just a short walk from the station. Join us for a unique evening that blends movement, music and feasting in one of Hertfordshire’s most atmospheric spaces. Tickets are available now and places are limited.
