A little bit about me…
I am a very keen Arsenal fan and spend most of my spare time watching or playing football. I like spending time with friends and family going to restaurants or just simply chilling!

What my role is and which department I work in…
I help assist the day to day running of the Front Office which includes training/ guiding the Reception/ Nights team, liaising with Housekeeping and working with Accounts & Sales team with any enquiries such as weddings, parties and conferences at the Farm.

Most enjoyable thing about my role…
The most enjoyable part of my role is having excellent guest satisfaction and watching the team flourish and perform well in giving great customer service.

What I love most about working at Tewin Bury Farm…
The real togetherness from all the staff ranging from the owners and the complete uniqueness of the Farm itself.

Job Title: Head Chef

A little bit about me…
A Hertfordshire local, I grew up and have lived in St. Albans all my life. At College I studied for my Catering & Hospitality NVQ and worked part-time during my studies for a catering firm, which was where my love of cooking grew!

What my role is and which department I work in…
I am Head Chef at Tewin Bury Farm for the banqueting team. I make sure that all catering for the weddings and events that we host here go well. I ensure that all food compliance, allergens and health & safety standards are met as well as prepare great menus and deliver great service every time for our customers.

Most enjoyable thing about my role…
There are two things that I find most enjoyable about my role. The first is the satisfaction I get in making people’s days as special as they can be. I also lead a team and I love helping and seeing them develop and grow in their roles.

What I love most about working at Tewin Bury Farm…
Tewin is a family run business and one of the best companies I have worked for. They supported me through a particularly tough time of my life when I was diagnosed with cancer. Their support was one of the things that helped me to come back and to be where I am today, which I am so grateful for.

A little bit about me…
I moved to the UK after spending one year in Budapest working in a 5 star establishment. I worked at Champney’s Health Spa Resort for 3 years before moving to Tewin Bury Farm. I enjoy playing football, watching Formula 1 and
long bike rides that finish at the Pub!

What my role is and which department I work in…
I’m the Assistant Restaurant Manager for William’s Bar & Restaurant and the Cowshed.

Most enjoyable thing about my role…
Every day is different and there is always something new to learn.

What I love most about working at Tewin Bury Farm…
The team, in this working environment team work is essential. Everyone in the restaurant and kitchen has a role and responsibility and each role is equally important. Working well together allows us to meet our main goal; happy customers.

Job Title: Conference Sales Executive

A little bit about me…
I have worked in the Hospitality sector for 13 years, starting as a casual member of waiting staff within a 4 star hotel. After being promoted to a Supervisor role, I decided to go down the route of studying Hospitality at University, in which I obtained a 2:1 degree in Hospitality and Business Management whilst continuing to work within the Hotel. Over the years I have worked in a range of departments from Sales, Operations & Front of House within different hotels in Hertfordshire and Central London. This has helped me gain knowledge which I can bring to my current role.

What my role is and which department I work in…
I joined Tewin Bury Farm Hotel as Conference Sales Executive in 2015, working as part of the Sales team booking all of our corporate events.

Most enjoyable thing about my role…
I enjoy working as part of a team, not only booking the corporate events but assisting with Social events & weddings. I enjoy following the booking process from an initial enquiry, liaising and meeting with organisers, through to seeing it in operation on the day. Each day there are new challenges and tasks, a highlight being securing new contract and building new relationships with clients

Tewin Bury Farm is a beautiful property situated in stunning grounds full of history. Behind the scenes there is such team work and support amongst the staff in order to ensure the success of conferences, weddings & events that take place. Being a family run business, all the staff work together as a team, which means the Hotel evolves on a daily basis
