Weddings: The Tythe Barn


Constructed in the 17th Century, the spacious Tythe Barn is unique in its character. Retaining many original features, this fully licensed barn has been sensitively restored over the last few years to offer an exceptional atmosphere for the larger wedding ceremony & evening reception.

Very recently we opened the minstrel gallery, which overlooks the main hall of the Tythe Barn and offers additional seating during your ceremony or wedding breakfast.

The Tythe Barn features the added luxury of under floor heating, so even your “winter” wedding will be warm. The lights can be dimmed, allowing you to create the perfect atmosphere and the fully equipped PA system will take care of all your audio requirement during your ceremony and wedding breakfast.

Solid oak flooring throughout, beautifully exposed beams, a lovely walk-way-bridge by the traditional waterwheel that will take you and your party onto your own private patio and meadow, complete with wooden furniture and umbrellas, all overlooking the river Mimram.
