Weddings: The Stable


The red brick Stable building, dating back to the 17th Century, is ideally suited to the more intimate celebrations.

This venue, with Minstrel Galleries at either side has a very warm and cosy atmosphere. It is fitted with under floor heating and has exposed oak beams throughout.

With its original stable doors and windows this fully licensed venue is highly popular with many brides & grooms to be, for both Wedding ceremonies and breakfasts.

After your ceremony, you and your guests will have the opportunity of using the Farmhouse Gardens that offer the perfect backdrop for both photographs and reception drinks.

In case the weather takes a turn for the worse we will also offer you use of our Stockman Room and Countryman Lounge, which are an attractive alternative for photographs and your drinks reception and will ensure you and your guests stay warm and dry

The wedding breakfast and evening reception are both held back in The Stable, where you will have your own serviced bar and access to a patio area, overlooking the river.
