What's happening on The Farm?

Guests are encouraged to park their cars on arrival and enjoy a nice walk to their room. But as our site is spread over 10 acres, this is sometimes not possible - so we have an electric passenger buggy to provide an environmentally friendly way to transport guests around the facilities.

Bicycles are available to use free of charge for, leisurely bike rides around the grounds or, for business guests, transport to and from their place of work - enabling them to leave their car behind.

With the ever-increasing popularity of electric vehicles, we are in the process of installing an electric car charging point. We do not expect to be overwhelmed with customers for it at the moment but this is clearly the way forward and here at Tewin Bury we like to be prepared!

Around the Farm, you'll find large wooden planters where we grow all our own herbs - they make attractive displays and are used to complement the local produce we source wherever possible for the restaurant. We now intend to create our own vegetable garden, which will be used by our chefs but also opened for guests to walk around. If the garden proves successful, we may go full-circle and re-open the Farm Shop, so we can sell home-grown vegetables to hotel customers and the local community.
