Local Produce
As our menu is based on seasonal flavours and produce we seldom source from other countries. In fact we make it a policy to source as much produce as possible from local suppliers, and much of our produce comes from within the boundaries of Tewin Bury Farm itself!
Our own produce includes:
- Trout from our own natural spring-water lakes which is used in the restaurant and forms one of our most popular signature dishes
- Eggs from our own chickens which are used in recipes and served as part of our daily hot breakfasts
- Herbs grown on-site in our gardens which are used in the restaurant and bar
Locally sourced produce includes:
- Hertfordshire Pork from pigs bred in Ware
- Lamb from Foxholes Farm, located on the outskirts of Hertford
- Venison from Highgrove in Gloucestershire
