Lead and manage the bars department so that it performs effectively and efficiently

Deputy Reception Manager

Deputy Reception Manager

 

We are looking for a Deputy Reception Manager to join our busy Reception and Reservations Department.

The role of the Deputy will include, but not limited to:

To be a Senior Member of the Reception and Reservations Department, supporting the Reception Manager in an operational capacity, the role will be based in Reception.

To work independantly and supervising others (in absence of the Reception Manager) in the Reception area whilst sustaining standards of operations at all times.

To perform in accordance to shift procedures on both early and late shifts.

To work in accordance with the Reception Manager to achieve financial targets.  This includes the budget for accommodation revenue and any related revenues.

Night Supervisor

Night Supervisor

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a Night Supervisor to assist with the running of the Hotel during designated night shifts.

The role of the Night Supervisor will involve (but are not limited to)

 

  • Oversee the night set up team
  • Set up all wedding and conference venues ready events the Hotel has
  • Assist with the Events and Front of House department when necessary

 The role will entail 40 hours per week over 4 days

We are currently looking to employ Housekeepers to join our Housekeeping Team.

 

As a casual member of staff, the successful applicant will be offered work on an as and when basis dependent on the business needs.  Shifts offered will be between 4-6 hours covering weekdays as well as weekends.

Our Housekeeping team are responsible for ensuring that all our guests are greeted by clean and welcoming rooms, ensuring that these high standards are maintained throughout the premises.

 Previous experience is preferred however full training will be given to the right candidate.  In return we offer £8 per hour.

Food and Beverage Supervisor (Conference and Events)

Food & Beverage Supervisor – (Conference and Events)

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a Food & Beverage Supervisor, primarily to look after our conference and events business.

 

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a conference and/or events environment.  Applicants must have an excellent standard of presentation and be able to demonstrate high standards of customer service.

 

The role of Food & Beverage Supervisor will involve:

 

  • Setting rooms to the client’s specification to a consistently high standard.
  • Checking that all equipment is in full working order before the client’s arrival.
  • Meeting and greeting clients, confirming details, issuing health and safety briefings and making any last minute adjustments to the venue.
  • Running small banqueting functions and liaising closely on the day with the hosts.
  • Serving refreshments.
  • Servicing the rooms.
  • Supervising staff.
  • Attending to customer queries and issues.
  • Ensuring good practice in Health & Safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Working to a rota that will include weekends and evenings, working any 5 days from 7.

We have a 60-seater Restaurant plus 9 conference rooms, 4 of which are also used as wedding and event venues and can cater for up to 1,000 guests on site at one time. Our food is prepared from fresh ingredients in house.

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a Demi Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchens, all of which are modern and superbly equipped.

 

The successful candidate will have had previous experience at Demi Chef de Partie level or be ready to take the step up into that role.

 

All applicants must be able to demonstrate their interest in food and a passion for consistently achieving to their full potential.

 

In return, our successful Demi Chef de Partie will be encouraged to develop their skills within banqueting, restaurant and pastry during their career at the Company under the guidance of our experienced chefs.

 

Our Demi Chef de Partie must be prepared to work 5 days from 7, on any day of the year.

The food throughout the Hotel at Tewin Bury Farm is prepared from fresh ingredients in modern, well equipped kitchens by our talented brigade of chefs.

 

We now have a wonderful opportunity for a Commis Chef to gain valuable experience at Tewin Bury Farm, within a 4 Star 2 AA Rossette Restaurant.

 

Typical duties will involve:

 

- Assisting the chefs with the running of the kitchen.
- Preparing vegetables/soups etc.
- Cleaning and tidying of equipment.
- To take instruction from all sections of the kitchen.

 

Applicants must have at least one year's professional cookery experience or training.
