Chef de Partie

 

We are currently looking to recuit a Chef de Partie to join our busy Kitchen Team

 

The role of the Chef de Partie will include (but will not be limited to) :

Constantly demonstrate, develop and maintain agreed food standards within the kitchen & constantly aim to improve the standards of your cooking

Contribute towards menu planning

Produce mis en place for each day

Maintain food safety procedures

Make every effort to minimise waste

Adhere to procedures such as daily spend and kitchen budgets

Demi Chef de Partie

Demi Chef de Partie

 

We have a 60-seater Restaurant plus 9 conference rooms, 4 of which are also used as wedding and event venues and can cater for up to 1,000 guests on site at one time. Our food is prepared from fresh ingredients in house.

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a Demi Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchens, all of which are modern and superbly equipped.

 

The successful candidate will have had previous experience at Demi Chef de Partie level or be ready to take the step up into that role.

 

All applicants must be able to demonstrate their interest in food and a passion for consistently achieving to their full potential.

 

In return, our successful Demi Chef de Partie will be encouraged to develop their skills within banqueting, restaurant and pastry during their career at the Company under the guidance of our experienced chefs.

 

Our Demi Chef de Partie must be prepared to work 5 days from 7, on any day of the year.

 

Live-in accommodation is available for this role.

Commis Chef

The food throughout the Hotel at Tewin Bury Farm is prepared from fresh ingredients in modern, well equipped kitchens by our talented brigade of chefs.

 

We now have a wonderful opportunity for a Commis Chef to gain valuable experience at Tewin Bury Farm, within a 4 Star 2 AA Rossette Restaurant.

 

Typical duties will involve:

 

- Assisting the chefs with the running of the kitchen.
- Preparing vegetables/soups etc.
- Cleaning and tidying of equipment.
- To take instruction from all sections of the kitchen.

 

Applicants must have at least one year's professional cookery experience or training.

 

Please note, due to our rural location, it is recommended that you have you have your own transport to the Hotel.

Conference Sous Chef

Conference Sous Chef

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a versatile Sous Chef to join our busy Kitchens, all of which are modern and superbly equipped.  The role will mainly involve working in our Banqueting kitchen, which caters for Weddings and other special events to an extremely high level.

 

The successful candidate will have a wide range of previous kitchen experience and be used to catering for large numbers within a banqueting environment, ideally within a rosette or 3+ to 4 star Hotel background.  Applicants must have a genuine interest in food and enjoy working under pressure. 

 

The role will involve:

 

  • Preparing dishes from fresh ingredients.
  • Contributing towards menu planning and costing as requested.
  • Maintaining food safety procedures.
  • Sending buffets for functions, meeting customer expectations with regards to quality and including special orders.
  • Assisting in training, coaching and supervising of trainee chefs as requested.

Housekeepers

We are currently looking to employ Housekeepers to join our Housekeeping Team.

 

As a casual member of staff, the successful applicant will be offered work on an as and when basis dependent on the business needs.  Shifts offered will be between 4-6 hours covering weekdays as well as weekends.

Our Housekeeping team are responsible for ensuring that all our guests are greeted by clean and welcoming rooms, ensuring that these high standards are maintained throughout the premises.

 Previous experience is preferred however full training will be given to the right candidate.  In return we offer £8 per hour.

Bar Person (full-time)

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Bar Person to join our friendly restaurant team.

 

The role of Bar Person will involve:

 

  • Meeting and greeting guests.
  • Taking customer orders in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Making and serving drinks to customers.
  • Collecting payment from customers.
  • Ensuring bar is kept clean and well stocked.
  • Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

 

You will be required to work a variety of shifts, on any 5 days from 7, on any day of the year, so a flexible approach to the hours worked is needed.

 

Excellent communication skills are needed as is the ability to deliver outstanding customer service. The successful candidate must have some previous bar experience.

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Food and Beverage Assistant to join our friendly Restaurant Team

The role of Food and Beverage Assistant will involve:

  • Meeting and greeting guests.
  • Dealing with customer queries and issues.
  • Clearing and relaying for breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The successful candidate will ideally have some previous waiting experience within a quality hotel or restaurant.  All of our waiting staff must have a flexible approach to the work they are asked to do.  An excellent standard of presentation and customer service are essential.

Night Supervisor

Night Supervisor

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a Night Supervisor to assist with the running of the Hotel during designated night shifts.

The role of the Night Supervisor will involve (but are not limited to)

 

  • Oversee the night set up team
  • Set up all wedding and conference venues ready events the Hotel has
  • Assist with the Events and Front of House department when necessary

 The role will entail 40 hours per week over 4 days

We are currently looking to recruit Waiting & Bar staff to join our friendly events team. 

 

We have several opportunities for dynamic individuals to work as post of our Waiting & Bar Team.  We are looking for new team members to flourish in this varied and fast-paced environment.

 

Successfull candidates will be selected for their enthusiasm to learn and professional attitude.  Experience is not essential, but desired, as full training will be given and a very competitive hourly rate offered to the right candidates.
