Bar Person
Bar Person
We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Bar Person to join our friendly restaurant team.
The role of Bar Person will involve:
- Meeting and greeting guests.
- Taking customer orders in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Making and serving drinks to customers.
- Collecting payment from customers.
- Ensuring bar is kept clean and well stocked.
- Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
You will be required to work a variety of shifts, on any 5 days from 7, on any day of the year, so a flexible approach to the hours worked is needed.
Excellent communication skills are needed as is the ability to deliver outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will ideally have some previous bar experience.

Casual Bar Team Leader
Casual Bar Team Leader
At Tewin Bury Farm, we are pleased to be able to host a wide variety of events at which the Bars are an integral part.
We are currently looking for an experienced bar person to join our casual team as a Bar Team Leader.
As a casual member of staff, the successful applicant will be offered work on an as and when basis dependent on the needs of the business. Shifts to be offered are most likely at evenings and weekends so the successful applicant should be available at these times.
The responsibilities will include:
* Running one of our bars throughout an event.
* Supervising other bar team members.
* Ensuring that our guests receive efficient and friendly service at all times.
* Ensuring that the bar is kept clean and well stocked.
* Cleaning beer lines.
* Handling cash and other forms of payment correctly.

Pastry Chef
Pastry Chef
We have a 60-cover, 2 AA Rosette Restaurant plus 9 conference rooms, 4 of which are also used as wedding and event venues and can cater for up to 1,000 guests on site at one time. Our food is prepared from fresh ingredients in house.
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Pastry Chef to provide quality pastries for both our Restaurant and Banqueting guests.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment and enjoy the challenge of creating quality pastries for both fine dining and for high volume concerns.
The role of Pastry Chef will involve:
• Preparing pastries for both the fine dining Restaurant and busy banqueting functions from fresh ingredients.
• Contributing towards menu planning, costing and achieving budgets as required.
• Meeting customer expectations with regards to quality and including special orders.
• Ensuring high standards of food hygiene are rigorously enforced.

Conference Porter
Conference Porter
We have 9 conference rooms, 4 of which are also used as wedding and event venues. We are currently seeking a Conference Porter to service those venues to our high standards.
Our Conference Porter will be responsible for:
• Ensuring all venues are set in accordance with the plans provided to our high standards and the client specifications.
• Ensure that all equipment is in place and checked to be in working order ahead of each conference.
• Serving refreshments throughout the day and buffet lunches to multiple venues.
• Ensuring that all the venues are cleared down successfully following the events or conferences at the end of the day.
• Cleaning the floors in the venues.
• Moving tables, chairs and other items into position.
• Clothing and laying the tables in accordance with plans provided.
Please note, for this position, our Conference Porter will need to have the following attributes:
• To be able to work independently as they will sometimes be working alone.
• To be flexible in the hours they are asked to work. This role will involve working a flexible shift pattern including evenings and weekends.
• To be confident and capable of moving and lifting heavy items, such as tables, chairs and large amounts of crockery.
• A good standard of presentation.
• Previous relevant experience in this area would be an advantage.

Chef de Partie
Chef de Partie
We have a 60-seater Restaurant plus 9 conference rooms, 4 of which are also used as wedding and event venues and can cater for up to 1,000 guests on site at one time. Our food is prepared from fresh ingredients in house.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchens, all of which are modern and superbly equipped. You will predominately be working within the banqueting section however you will be expected to cover the restaurant as and when needed.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a banqueting or rosetted restaurant environment and enjoy working under pressure.
The role will involve:
• Preparing dishes from fresh ingredients.
• Producing mis en place in advance.
• Contributing towards menu planning and costing as requested.
• Maintaining food safety procedures, including food labelling, food temperatures and cleaning schedules.
• Meeting customer expectations with regards to quality and including special orders.
• Assisting in training and coaching of trainee chefs as requested.
