What's happening on The Farm?

We have recently purchased an electric powered passenger buggy. Guests are encouraged to park their cars on arrival and enjoy a nice walk to their room. As our site is spread over 10 acres this is sometimes not possible so our electric buggy provides an environmentally friendly way to transport guests around the facilities.

Bicycles are available to use free of charge for leisurely bike rides around the grounds or, for business guests, for transport to and from their place of work enabling them to leave their car behind.

After Fantastic News that we have received planning permission for the 'Tythe Barn 2' (name to be advised) this will commence when the Marquee is taken down in January 2012. Time Scales to be announced in the future.

With the ever increasing popularity of electric vehicles we are in process of installing an electric car charging point. We do not expect to be inundated with customers at the moment however this is clearly the way forward and here at Tewin Bury we like to be prepared!

Our herbs are currently grown in large wooden planters which make attractive displays at various points around the farm. We now intend to cultivate our own vegetable and herb garden which will be used by our chefs and will be open to guests to walk around. If the garden proves to be successful we may consider opening a farm shop where we can sell our home grown vegetables to customers and the local community.
